Minister Winetta Turner, is a native of California. From the early age of 3, music has always been a part of her life. Picking up whatever instrument that was available to her.

 

Formal training came while playing in school bands from elementary through high school. There she learned various music styles, playing drums, percussion and flute. She has always written songs and composed music.  With a predominately non church background, she accepted Christ as a young adult. The music of the church captured her heart.

After she was married, she and her husband relocated to South Carolina. There her music ministry began. She served as the drummer for the music department at Mason Temple COGIC. As a military family they were relocated to Mountain Home Idaho. There she served at the Mountain Home AFB Chapel as Minister of Music for the gospel service.

 

Assisted in establishing Abundant Life Christian Fellowship. There she served as the Minister of Music and Band Director.  During this time she also accepted her call as a Minister of the Gospel. She served that ministry faithfully for 13 years.

 Montgomery Alabama where she served and the Worship Leader and on the ministerial staff of Word Of Life Ministries.

Upon her husband’s military retirement, the Lord directed her family to San Antonio Tx. She has served at Spirit Of Life COGBF  from then to present as the  Minister of Music and as a part of the ministerial staff.
